Text Box: Shirley Gower I have been painting for over 30 years, starting with expectations of making art for my own pleasure.  However,  I soon realized my art ability was much more and I now have enjoyed many classes both as a student and as an instructor. My work is now in many private and corporate places.   I create work that I hope the viewer will respond to with a feeling of pleasure.
